MedMij Audits

Have a MedMij audit carried out, for a label for your Electronic Patient Dossier or personal health environment? DigiTrust can serve you well in both cases. We are an official NEN7510 partner, to which the MedMij label is an extension.

We would like to tell you more about MedMij as an appointment system. It should guarantee secure data exchange between personal health environments and Electronic Patient Files that doctors and specialists work with. It guarantees privacy and good security, as well as both safe and user-friendly exchange of sensitive medical data.

What is MedMij?

MedMij is an agreement system with strict guidelines. Specially developed to exchange personal, sensitive and confidential health data in a safe way. And user-friendly too, to avoid making mistakes.

The MedMij label demonstrates data exchange where privacy and security are properly guaranteed. An absolute must for organisations working with the EPD or a PGO. The label shows the outside world and important partners that security, privacy and good exchangeability have been carefully considered.

MedMij information standards

Have a MedMij audit carried out? Among other things, the information standards are then important. Within the appointment system, for example, they involve a number of functional and technical requirements that you, as provider of an EHR or PBM, must meet.

For example, it is mandatory to have NEN7510 certification. The MedMij label is an extension of this. This applies to all healthcare providers and all related organisations that want to work with patients' sensitive data. Only after obtaining NEN7510 certification is it possible to obtain the MedMij label.

Receiving the MedMij label? An additional audit takes place, focusing on the MedMij requirements. They complement the information security standards, in order to work specifically with patients' medical data.
