Korper ICT is a fast-growing organisation in the field of automation, data exchange and security. Korper has now achieved and received ISO 27001 certification from DigiTrust. With this certification, they demonstrate that information security within the organisation is in perfect order. A proof of delivering quality, but also as a competent and reliable partner for customers. Owner Benjamin Korper looks back on achieving the certificate and the pleasant cooperation with DigiTrust.
What prompted you to obtain certification?
"Because we are an ICT security company ourselves, companies hire us to provide certain services. This particularly involves large amounts of sensitive data, for example for government bodies and banks. Until now, we did not need ISO certification, but increasingly we felt it would be faster and more efficient to work if we did have that certification in our pocket. And so we did."
How was the certification process experienced?
"The reason we chose DigiTrust started with a recommendation from another party. Then you do get triggered to investigate further. Then you discover that DigiTrust also offers a competitive price. Then, based on the value for money, the choice for us is no longer so difficult. DigiTrust has proven to take care of the process to perfection. We experienced it as very pleasant and are therefore very satisfied."
What did you look up to and what was not so bad?
"We did initially look forward to the three full days before it. But it wasn't too bad in the end, the audit went very smoothly because we had prepared well."
What went differently than expected?
"We have had auditors in the past who are very strict. Something that is of course very good in principle, but if certain underlying thoughts of the organisation are then not listened to or not listened to properly, it is not always easy. But precisely that personal approach, listening carefully to your customer, that's what Cees from DigiTrust was very adept at."
Would you recommend DigiTrust to others?
Yes, exactly for the above reasons. On the one hand, the price-quality ratio, but especially Cees' understanding and personal touch. DigiTrust adopts an open attitude and thinks along from the customer's point of view and not purely from the strict theory that stands for such an ISO certificate."
